Silent Auction:
The Illinois Press Foundation will be doing a silent auction again this year. Proceeds from the auction will go twoard all of the Foundation projects that benefit Illinois newspapers, journalists, and future journalists. Please consider contributing an auction item to help continue this important work. Popular items at past auctions included tickets to sporting events, concerts, and amusement parks, artwork, gift baskets, wine/bourbon, etc.
We ask that you email details about what you will donate (including an estimate of its value, description and minimum bid) to Cindy Bedolli at cbedolli@illinoispress.org by May 31. You can bring the donated items with you to the convention or ship to the IPF at 2501 Chatham Rd., Suite 200, Springfield, IL 62704. If you are shipping something, please let the IPF office know who sent it, so we can acknowledge your donation. Items will be on display throughout the convention with final bids due Thursday evening by 6:30 p.m.
