Police in Albany, Ga., were alerted to a burglary by a newspaper delivery man at 4:30 a.m. July 7. The delivery man saw that a store had been broken into. Police found that the glass front door had been smashed with a rock, and only toothpaste and deodorant stolen. Video tape shows the burglary occurred at about 2:30 a.m.
The Daily News Tribune, Needham, Mass., will redesign and convert to a twice-weekly publication as of Aug. 31, renaming itself the Waltham News Tribune and focusing coverage on that city, but remaining based in Needham.
