SHAWNEE, OK — Stephnie Weir, perhaps best known for her prominent roles on MADtv throughout the early 2000s, playing iconic roles such as her portrayal of Anna Nicole Smith, Laura Bush, Mary Kate and Ashley Olson, among many others, is now working on creating a pitch to formulate a new series about the idiosyncrasies of a small town newspaper. She toured The Shawnee News-Star Tuesday to gain some insight into the inner-workings of a small town paper and tried to attain a perspective into each person’s role or responsibility within the paper.
