A new service from pricing consulting firm Simon-Kucher & Partners found that 72% of device owners have downloaded at least one publication app although few are willing to pay what they would for print.

Some 80% of newspaper readers surveyed said that $15 per month — the current price of The New York Times’ digital subscription — is too expensive for a newspaper app, despite it being far lower than print, which runs up to $50 per month.
