The publishers FAZ Verlag (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung), Süddeutsche Verlag (Suddeutsche Zeitung), Zeit Gruppe (Die Zeit) and Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt (Handelsblatt) have established a cooperation called Quality Alliance (QA).

Objective: A common generic marketing for national "quality newspapers". These four titles are quoted as unique in their position with respect to credibility, relevance and nationwide. This cooperation will include common interests such as transparency and credibility with performance, audience quality, and standardisation of ad formats and impact of advertising.
