Budapest, Hungary — When the European Parliament's Civil Liberties Committee called last week for Europe to regularly investigate journalist freedom across the EU, it didn't name any particular country to watch. But if there has been one European nation that has been criticized for changing its media laws in the past years, it's Hungary.
