The Washington Post Co. today announced that revenue for its newspaper division hit $138.4 million for the second quarter of 2013, relatively flat when compared with $139.2 million in the same period a year ago. For the first half of 2013, revenue was down 2% to $265.7 million, from $271.7 million for the first six months of 2012.

Revenue from the company’s newspaper online publishing activities, primarily washingtonpost.com and Slate, increased 15% to $29.8 million for the second quarter of 2013 versus the same quarter of 2012.
