Members of the Taylor family, which sold The Boston Globe to the New York Times Co. in 1993 for $1 billion, are reportedly working with Jack Griffin, the former CEO of Time Inc. and current president of Empirical Media, on a possible bid, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
