New York City-based publisher Niall O’Dowd, owner of the Irish Voice and Home and Away newspapers, has snapped up a Boston-based rival, The Post has learned.
O’Dowd plans to place his newly purchased Boston paper, called The Irish Emigrant, under the umbrella of IrishCentral.com, a Web site he owns.
