The San Diego Business Journal reported Monday on its website that the North County Times has been purchased by Douglas F. Manchester and U-T San Diego.
However,
U-T San Diego CEO John Lynch said Monday morning by email that no such
purchase has taken place. In addition, Lynch also denied he has a press
conference scheduled for Tuesday relating to a sale, contradicting the
Business Journal story.
