The Yuma Sun has been sold to Rhode Island Suburban Newspapers Inc., effective May 1. Rhode Island Suburban Newspapers is a privately owned publisher of several daily and weekly newspapers in Rhode Island and is a part of Horizon Publications, publishers of newspapers across the United States and Canada.

However, it will be business as usual for the Yuma Sun, both for its employees and its readers.
