A state Superior Court judge Wednesday handed the Gannett New Jersey
newspaper chain a victory in the company’s public records lawsuit
against the Somerset County borough of Raritan.
Superior
Court Judge Yolanda Ciccone ordered the borough to provide its payroll
data in a digital, non-PDF computerized file to the Courier News after
ruling the borough in 2009 improperly denied the newspaper’s request for
the data.
