The Long Island Press has ceased publication of its print newspaper and gone exclusively digital, its latest transition from a daily paper to a rebirth as a weekly and then a monthly publication before transforming into an entirely electronic edition.

The Garden City-based publication, the flagship of Morey Publishing, led by Publisher Jed Morey, made the announcement online through a YouTube video detailing the publication’s history and through posts by Morey on Facebook.
