Louis was a successful businessman, who played a pivotal role in shaping the narrow Web tag and label market, helping to build the industry as it is today. In 1973, he began the design of the very first water-based ink for flexographic printing. Truly a visionary, Louis stated, “There have to be some changes made for the environment and for the energy crunches we have…” Louis then made the decision to dedicate time and energy to develop a water-based system for label printing.
Louis built a successful global business, which remains a key facet of Flint Group today. The group is dedicated to serving the global printing and packaging industry. The company develops, manufactures and markets an extensive portfolio of printing consumables.
