During the summer, a group of
Boston Globe journalists rented an
apartment in the Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood, in a bid to "get away
from the drive-by journalism" which it had at times identified in a
number of papers, including its own, particularly when covering violence
in the area.
According to the Globe, the Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood, for the last 25 years, "has consistently been more dangerous than Boston as a whole".
