New York, N.Y.-- Hearst Newspapers has named Paul Farrell group publisher of Hearst Connecticut Newspapers. In his new role, Farrell will have responsibility for the operating performance across Hearst’s network of media companies in the state, which includes four dailies (Connecticut Post in Bridgeport, The News-Times in Danbury, The Advocate in Stamford and Greenwich Time) and seven weekly newspapers in Fairfield County.
