Elizabethville, Pa.--Manugraph DGM, Inc. (MDGM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Manugraph India, LTD., has announced the following personnel changes and unveiled a new marketing strategy for North and South America.
Brian LaBine, a member of the MDGM board of directors since 2003, and past MDGM president (2003 – 2010), will be assuming day-to-day responsibilities as president and CEO, effective immediately. “It's great to be back with MDGM and the wonderful people who work here and make MDGM the great company it is,” said LaBine. “We truly have a unique set of capabilities which we bring to the market.”
Additionally, Ron Ehrhardt, MDGM current vice president of international sales covering South America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand will now assume sales management responsibilities for North America as well.
As part of a new global marketing strategy MDGM will now be known as Manugraph Americas. “This will allow us to promote new press sales, spare parts sales and press service support activities more cohesively within this hemisphere,” said Ehrhardt.
Since Drupa 2012 (May 3-16, 2012) Manugraph has sold six new press orders in South America, including orders for the new M360 and Hiline Express presses promoted at the Drupa exhibition. “We feel quite strongly that these presses are the right fit for the Americas market,” said Ehrhardt.
Manugraph Americas will continue to offer sales, spare parts, and press support services from its Elizabethville, Pa. facility, while maintaining the capability to offer equipment to support the existing DGM user base. “We continue to maintain a large inventory of parts for all of our press lines, while fielding a group of eleven experienced service people,” LaBine added, “In addition, we continue to innovate, as evidenced by our introduction in 2012 of a simple, user-friendly press drive, to address the growing need for cost effective legacy drive replacement.”
