Richmond, Va.-- World Media Enterprises, a part of the BH Media Group, has named three people to its senior executive leadership team.
Douglas Hiemstra has been named president and chief executive officer of World Media Enterprises. Hiemstra has been with the Omaha World-Herald Co. for 12 years, starting as chief financial officer of the Community Newspaper Group, with the last nine years in roles of increasing responsibility for operations. Most recently, Hiemstra was CEO of Midlands Newspaper Group, and senior vice president and chief operating officer of the Omaha World-Herald Co.
Terry Jamerson, has been named vice president of community newspapers for the Virginia division of World Media Enterprises, Inc. Jamerson has been with Media General, the previous owner of the newspapers, since 1995 as a group leader and publisher for the Lynchburg-Roanoke-Danville cluster of newspapers, websites and television stations. In addition, she previously held management positions in Media General newspapers in Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Florida.
Kevin Kampman has been named vice president of community newspapers for the southern division of World Media Enterprises, Inc. Kampman previously was publisher of The Repository in Canton, Ohio, since June 2007, and also served as regional vice president for 12 newspapers in the Great Lakes Region of GateHouse Media. Overall, Kampman brings 32 years of experience in the newspaper industry, including the last 15 in senior management positions.
