2011 Jack Webster Awards Launched

VANCOUVER, June 2, 2011 /CNW/ - Don Babick and Scott Macrae, Co-Chairs of the Jack Webster Foundation, today launched the 2011 Jack Webster Awards to recognize excellence in BC print, broadcast and multimedia journalism.

"For the 25th year, the Jack Webster Foundation presents its annual award program in the name of one of BC's best-known journalists," Macrae said. "From 1947 to 1987, in print, open-line radio and TV, the late Jack Webster set a standard for hard-hitting journalism that continues to inspire the current generation of practitioners."
