ORION, Mich. – Dec. 5, 2012 – American Newspaper Solutions (ANS) – a technology-driven distribution company servicing the print media industry – announced it is assuming complete home delivery distribution responsibilities for The Morning Call, the preeminent daily newspaper in Allentown, Pennsylvania. ANS uses patented technology developed by Agile Geo Data, a company specializing in information-based verification applications and tracking systems to provide complete delivery history to clients.
In its new role, ANS will coordinate and supervise the daily operation of the newspaper’s home delivery distribution, including route creation and modification. The ANS management team will supervise the entire delivery process. ANS began operations with The Morning Call on December 3. The newspaper has a daily circulation of 65,000 and a Sunday circulation of 95,000 plus ANS also will deliver a number of its commercial accounts
“We are very pleased to announce ANS’ partnership with The Morning Call,” said Ballenger. “ANS brings a definite value-added to our customers, along with the technology and distribution processes created by ANS. This relationship will reduce the administrative and HR functions of The Morning Call associated with this distribution and allow the newspaper to focus on business development and building advertising revenue in a challenging marketplace.”
ANS’ proprietary Carrier Track® technology allows customers to utilize enhanced tracking capabilities, while allowing subscribers a more efficient way to communicate with the Circulation Division on topics such as customer requests for product receivership.
“ANS cost savings will allow newspapers to remain competitive from an operational standpoint and offer an enhanced delivery and customer service experience for their subscribers,” added Ballenger.
