The future of digital media in Boston will have a soundtrack, at least for the foreseeable future.
Two of the city’s best-known newspaper entities — The Boston Globe (owned by The New York Times Co.) and The Phoenix Media/Communications Group — have launched online radio stations this year, broadcasting alternative music and featuring well-known local DJs.
