Chinese Newspaper Apologizes for Photoshopping Taiwan's Flag Out of Picture

China's Xiamen Daily Photoshopped an August 16 front-page photo to replace the Taiwanese flag with a Chinese flag, visual journalist Charles Apple reported.
The photo pictured the "arrest of five activists from the Hong Kong-based ‘Action Committee for Defending the Diaoyu Islands’ in Japan," Shanghaiist blog explained.
