Philadelphia, Pa.-- Rumble News Ltd., a mobile technology company that offers newspapers an A-Z mobile solution with customized apps, has announced that digital media expert Greg Osberg has joined its advisory board.
Osberg was selected for the board appointment because of his experience leading digital initiatives at some of the world’s best-known media companies, including The Washington Post Co., CNET, Newsweek and most recently Philadelphia Media Network, publishers of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com.
Rumble News currently operates within the Project Liberty Digital Incubator in Philadelphia, which is funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to stimulate the establishment and growth of digital media start-up companies in the Philadelphia region. Rumble joined the incubator in July as a member of the second group of start-up company participants in the project since it launched in January 2012. Rumble’s innovative product, equipped with consumer analytics and monetization options, continues to receive global interest from many leaders and investors in the technology sector. Osberg’s addition to Rumble’s advisory board signals the company is prioritizing their need for investment and growth, hoping to build new contacts and insights through the support of experts known within the startup community.
“I believe Rumble has developed an exciting digital mobile solution for publishers interested in upgrading their branded apps,” said Osberg. “I look forward to helping Rumble grow their business.”
