Former Suburban Trends Editor Howard Ball Dies at 82

For many, Howard Lee Ball was and always will be the face of the Suburban Trends newspaper. For others he was a community volunteer extraordinaire and the unofficial historian of the area. For all who knew Ball, he left an impression that is unforgettable.

Ball passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the New Jersey Firemen’s Home in Boonton, just about a month shy of his 83rd birthday.
