KBA North America Names New Sales Agent

KBA North America announces that Flex Essentials, Inc. is its new sales agent for the Flexotecnica line of CI Flexo presses in the Canadian market. Headed up by industry veteran, Jim Waslowski, Flex Essentials, Inc. is a leading manufacturers’ representative for several companies offering equipment and supplies to the flexographic market with extensive experience in flexible packaging.

KBA North America assumed the distributorship for the Flexotecnica presses on Jan. 1, shortly after the acquisition of that company by the KBA Group. The new subsidiary, KBA-Flexotecnica, is an Italian press manufacturer specializing in presses for printing on film, paperboard and other substrates in the growing market for flexible packaging.

Waslowski is responsible for developing and growing the Flexotecnica product line in Canada with a special emphasis on increasing its market share in paperboard and flexible packaging. He will be working closely with KBA’s and Flexotecnica’s existing customer base as well as prospecting for new business.

Waslowski formed Flex Essentials 11 years ago and has grown it to where it is one of the premier representatives in this industry. Prior to this position, he spent nearly 20 years in the plastics industry at Brampton Engineering starting in machine design and moving into the sales arena in which he ultimately held the position of vice president of sales.
