Longtime Courier-Journal Executive Don Towles Dies at 83

Donald B. Towles, a retired Courier-Journal (Louisville, Ky.) executive who headed the circulation, promotion and public-service departments in a 37-year career with the newspaper, died at age 83 Sunday at home after a long illness.
