Longtime Southtown Star Editor Madelyn Merwin Dies at 87

Tinley Park, Ill.--Funeral services for Madelyn R. Merwin, a former editor at Star newspapers, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno. She died Monday at her Manteno home at the age of 87.
