Microsoft Will Launch The Surface Tablets and Windows 8 On October 26

Microsoft has confirmed that its own-brand Surface tablets will debut alongside Windows 8 on October 26.
"The next version of our operating system, Windows 8, will be generally available on October 26, 2012. At that time, we will begin selling the Surface, a series of Microsoft-designed and manufactured hardware devices," said Microsoft in its annual report, which was recently filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
