Hundreds of thousands of dollars in state funding
will not pay for repairs to New Haven building where a Communist
newspaper is published.
Some veterans and Republican lawmakers spoke out last week against a $300,000 grant to Progressive Education and Research Associates to renovate the New Haven Peoples Center because they said “The People’s World,” which is affiliated with the Communist Party USA and Young Communist League, is published there.
