Partnership for McClatchy and PopMatters.com

PopMatters.com, McClatchy-Tribune Information Services (MCTIS), and MCT Campus today announced that they will partner in an exchange of content and distribution.
Stories from PopMatters will be carried on MCT Campus, a national wire service reaching more than 1,000 college and high school newspapers. Also, PopMatters is developing a weekly print product for MCTIS called "PopMatters Picks" that details the best in pop culture each week. It will be distributed to both campus newspapers and subscribers of MCTIS' "What's Next" package for 18- to 34-year-old readers.
Additional PopMatters content will run in "What's Next" and "Plugged In," MCTIS' personal-technology package. Meanwhile, MCTIS wire content will be carried by PopMatters as part of the newly launched "PopWire," and editorial cartoons will appear in the "Condensed Version" blog.
PopMatters, founded in 1999 by Sarah Zupko, is an international online magazine that covers music, film, TV, books, comics, and more.
MCTIS, which is marketed by Tribune Media Services, distributes content from more than 60 newspapers to about 1,200 clients worldwide.
