Register Citizen Earns Awards at Journalism Conference

NORTH HAVEN — At the annual Connecticut Society of Professional
Journalists Excellence in Connecticut Journalism Contest 2010, the
Register Citizen and Foothills Media Group walked away with 11 awards in
an array of categories.
The Register Citizen’s Mike Agogliati and Jason Siedzik won a combined five - Agogliati with three and Siedzik with two - for their stories in arts and entertainment, features and general reporting. Current Community Engagement Editor and former staff reporter Kaitlyn Yeager won prizes for her work with the Canton News and interactive graphic reporting.
