State Journal-Register Executive Editor Resigns

Springfield, Ill.--Jon K. Broadbooks has resigned as executive editor of The State Journal-Register to become director of communications for the Illinois Association of Realtors. Broadbooks joined the publication in 2008.   Broadbooks has been a top editor at newspapers in New York, Mississippi and Texas. He is in his second term on the national board of The Associated Press Media Editors and serves on the board of the Illinois Associated Press Editors Association.
