Newspaper publishers: Look outside your industry and toward models
like HBO Go for the digital path forward, says the publisher of the
Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Mike Klingensmith, who took the reins as publisher and CEO of the Star Tribune
Media Co. in January 2010 after a long magazine career at Time Inc.,
said the cable television model of TV Everywhere is “pretty close to
just right” in its paradigm for publishers.
