TEWKSBURY, MA-- September 29, 2011 -- ECRM Imaging Systems, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, in a joint agreement with Dotline GmbH, Bielefeld, Germany, has announced the release of its NEWSmax line of high-speed newspaper CTP machines that will be distributed by most of its world-wide network of dealers.
 
According to Rick Black, President and CEO of ECRM, “The addition of our NEWSmax CTP line will be a valuable extension to both our semi-automatic and automatic newspaper CTP products, giving our customers capability of production speeds up to 400 plates per hour. The ECRM-Dotline partnership will enable ECRM to provide a broader range of CTP solutions capable of handling the needs of every newspaper.” Mr. Black will attend the October IFRA Show in Vienna with Dotline.

DRM drives four 48-page, 4-color presses to print a daily circulation of approximately 350,000 copies in 30 different editions. With three Dotline CTP lines they consume 3500 – 5000 plates per day.
