Journal Register Company installed an enterprise-wide PrintExpress system on VM Ware serverslocated at their corporate headquarters in Yardley, PA. The first property to go live on the new print production system was the Morning Journal in Lorain, OH, followed by the New Haven Register, Middletown Press, and the Register Citizen with more to follow. The JRC PrintExpress system receives incoming PDFs and automatically processes them based on naming conventions through various production workflows which provide RIPping, Page Imposition/Pairing, Ink Presetting, and routing of Group 4 TIFFs to the proper print site.
