The Economist's editorial cartoonist, Kevin ?KAL? Kallaugher, will be an artist-in-residence at Duke University?s Sanford Institute for Public Policy, Daily Cartoonist reports.

"During his time on campus, from Nov. 10-14, he will be creating a clay sculpture to commemorate the 2008 Presidential campaign," it said.

The Sanford Institute also will be holding a forum titled ?Laughing at Power: Satire in American Politics? on Tuesday, Nov. 11 that features Kal and North Carolina cartoonist Dwane Powell, the story added.
