Another alternative newsweekly is drawing on its trove of local listings to power its entry into the app space.

Burlington, Vt.’s Seven Days, which has pushed previous alt weekly digital boundaries with an aggressive video play, made its mobile debut earlier this month with BurlApp. The directory app is geared to the state’s considerable tourist trade, offering metro area listings for restaurants, retail, lodgings, local services and attractions, among other categories.
