“This new partnership with Econsultancy will truly help to reinforce ABC’s commitment to education and provide resources for our members,” said George Bartman, ABC’s vice president of marketing and sales. “JUMP is a forum dedicated to finding and sharing solutions for multiplatform media, just the first of many new educational services we are planning, and I look forward to seeing many of our members at the event.”
JUMP, or “Joined Up Marketing Perspectives,” will focus on the integration of traditional and digital marketing and explore the opportunities that arise from cross-platform marketing in its various panels and whitepaper sessions. More than 750 media professionals will join to hear industry specialists discuss the integrated consumer experience and its effect on media and marketing development.
The JUMP sessions will cover a wide array of subjects including the ABC-sponsored panel, “Pages to Platforms: Redefining News Media Brands.” The panel features a diverse line up of speakers including: Edward W. Boyd, one; Joy Puzzo, Advanstar Communications; Stefan Tournquist, Econsultancy; Jerry Hill, Gannett Publishing Services; and Nick Blunden, The Economist.
These panelists will share their experiences redeveloping brands deeply rooted in print to reach new audiences in a multimedia environment and what obstacles they have faced in the process. From developing new products to keeping up with technology, these industry players will talk about the obstacles they have faced and how the redefinition of the relationship between publishers and media buyers has evolved.
Visit the Econsultancy website to learn more about the panel and register today. ABC members are eligible for complimentary registration and are encouraged to contact the New York office for more information.
