Tribune Co. Launches Consolidated Sales Division 'Tribune365'

By Katy Bachman/Mediaweek

Published: October 13, 2009 11:16 AM ET

NEW YORK Tribune Co. announced Monday the formal launch of Tribune365, a multiplatform sales organization. The unit, headed by Don Meek, consolidates Tribune Media Net and Tribune Interactive into a single division.

“There were a lot of entities selling the same inventory,” said Meek, who was named president of national media sales for interactive and publishing in January.

Tribune365 taps into all Tribune’s newspaper, TV, cable, radio and digital businesses to offer “a more holistic integrated approach to marketing,” Meek added.
