'AJC' Launches Holiday Campaign

By E&P Staff

Published: October 20, 2009 3:54 PM ET

NEW YORK The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has launched a marketing campaign to coincide with the holiday season.

The "Unplug and Save" campaign campaign is running on TV, in print, online, on radio and direct mail. It emphasizes the AJC as a shopping resource and a watchdog.

"We're confident that our advertising message will resonate with consumers who are looking for ways to save time and money, while staying informed this holiday season," Amy Chown, the AJC's vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "This campaign is a positive way to promote the value of our brand and was designed to build readership and grow circulation sales."

The Unplug theme was used earlier this year when the Journal-Constitution introduced its redesigned Sunday paper.
