NEW YORK Gary Williams is the new circulation director for the Beloit (Wis.) Daily News. His new position puts him in charge of all sales, delivery, subscriber services and staff supervision within the circulation department.
The Iowa native has no prior experience in newspapers, but has worked at the General Motors plant in nearby Janesville, Wis., for 23 years, the last six as line supervisor.
“Gary brings a strong background in management and exceptional people skills to the paper,” Publisher Kent Eymann said. “Additionally, his training and previous career path revolved around a commitment to quality and on-time performance.”
