NEW YORK Publishing Group of America (PGA) appointed Sandra Baylis in the newly created role of director of partner events and special services. Baylis will be responsible for overseeing events like the Relish Cooking Show and Expo.

Baylis has served as a regional director for PGA since 1999 where she headed up publisher relations and circulation across the South and Midwest.

Additionally, PGA named Howard Hoffman regional director.

"Sandi's creativity and her close relationships with our publishing partners make her ideally suited for this leadership position," Steve Smith, vice president, publisher relations for PGA, said in a statement.

Hoffman worked for Parade as managing director in the magazine's newspaper relations group. He was most recently a newspaper relations contractor for USA Weekend.

"Howard is well known across the newspaper industry," Smith said in a statement. "His passion for providing extraordinary customer service makes him the consummate relations professional."
