McClatchy Renews Relationship with ExactTarget

NEW YORK ExactTarget announced that The McClatchy Co. has again chosen the Indianapolis-based on-demand e-mail and one-to-one marketing provider to power e-mail newsletters and news alerts across the group's 30-newspaper network.

The renewal continues a relationship of more than two years between the companies and allows McClatchy to offer newsletters, real-time new alerts and personalized news publications to the more than 35 million unique monthly visitors to its online news sites.

With the help of ExactTarget's deliverability and strategic consulting teams, McClatchy revamped its e-mail subscription centers to create a clear opt-in process, and it harnessed the power of ExactTarget's enterprise edition and segmentation tools to provide relevant content to subscribers.
