Outsell Partners With Web Analytics Co.

By E&P Staff

NEW YORK Outsell Research is the latest company to jump in the paid-content fray by partnering with Issaquah, Wash.-based Scout Analytics. The Outsell Scout Analytics service is aimed at helping media companies increase revenue with paid content and subscriptions.

"As the economic downturn puts new pressure on revenues, information companies cannot afford a one-size-fits-all approach to subscriber relationships," Greg Chagaris, Outsell's co-founder and corporate development officer, said in a statement. "Outsell Scout Analytics helps them better understand their customers and where the greatest value potential for their content exists at a time when these users are scrutinizing their information spending."

With the tools, customers can study unauthorized use, retention and renewal strategies, monitor user sessions. Outsell works with customers to analyze the findings and recommend actions.
