INDIVIDUAL EPPY AWARDED TO YELVINGTON Online Newspaper Pioneer Honored For His Efforts

The third EPpy Award for individual achievement was presented Friday night to Steve Yelvington, manager of Web site development for Morris Digital Works in Augusta, Ga.
A print newspaper veteran, Yelvington was a pioneer in the digital world, joining the Star Tribune Online in Minneapolis way back in 1994. After building startribune.com into an industry-leading and innovative news site, he served as executive editor for Cox Interactive Media in Atlanta.
Yelvington recently joined Morris, where he develops new-media applications and content for the company's media properties.
