'New Haven Register' Gets Rare Extra Edition Out on Yale Murder Suspect's Arrest

NEW HAVEN, Conn. The New Haven Register is selling a rare extra edition announcing the arrest of a Yale University lab technician in the murder of a graduate student whose body was stuffed inside a wall on campus.

Editor Jack Kramer says the newspaper published 5,000 copies of the two-page special edition. It was being wrapped around Thursday's daily newspaper and sold on the streets.

The death of 24-year-old graduate student Annie Le, originally of Placerville, Calif., has brought worldwide attention to the Ivy League campus.

Police arrested 24-year-old Raymond Clark III of Middletown, Conn., on Thursday. He was charged with her murder and bond was set at $3 million.

The Register is owned by Yardley, Pa.-based Journal Register Journal-Register Co.
