Mike Smith has been named managing editor of the Herald-Journal in Spartanburg, S.C. Smith, who most recently served as editorial page editor, will continue to oversee the editorial pages and will also oversee the Herald-Journal's daily print and GoUpstate.com online operations. He succeeds Greg Retsinas. |
Kurt Rossi Named AP's VP/Global Technology Operations
Kurt Rossi has been named vice president of global technology operations for The Associated Press. Rossi, who became director of business operations for AP's Technology department in 2006, has served as acting head of global technology operations since May. He succeeds Nick Evansky. |
