SANTA FE, N.M., December 17, 2012 – The American Copy Editors Society is entering into a partnership with the Journalism & Women Symposium (JAWS). The partnership will offer ACES members admission to JAWS conferences, workshops and entry into any JAWS contests at JAWS member rates. Equally, JAWS members will be able to register for ACES conferences and workshops, and entry into any ACES contests at ACES member rates.
Members from both organizations will have the opportunity to present and profit from one-day training tracks at the other’s national conferences.
“JAWS is an amazing organization that has an excellent history of advocacy, education and mentorship. Our alliance is a great opportunity for ACES to extend our training reach,” said Teresa Schmedding, ACES president.
