Business Wire, the big distributor of press releases and other announcements, on Wednesday launched LatinoWire in a joint venture with ImpreMedia, the nation’s largest publisher of Spanish-language newspapers.
LatinoWire will reach more than 1,200 Hispanic print and multimedia outlets nationwide, Business Wire said.
The new service will lean on its access to the ImpreMedia Digital platform.
Business Wire’s Hispanic content and Spanish-language and English multimedia assets will be carried on impre.com, the Web portal that includes a digital network of ImpreMedia’s daily, weekly and monthly publications.
Impre.com says it has approximately two million unique monthly visitors, generating 7.2 million monthly page views.
ImpreMedia is the nation’s largest Hispanic publisher, with print publications in seven of the top 10 Hispanic markets, including the nation’s largest Spanish-language daily, La Opinion in Los Angeles, and its oldest, El Diario La Prensa in New York City.
