D.C. Publisher Local News Now Closed Two Sites Last Year, But It’s Still Bullish On Advertising

2016 wasn’t the best year for Local News Now, a network of hyperlocal sites in the Washington, D.C. area.

In July, it closed Hill Now, its site covering the Capitol Hill neighborhood, and merged its coverage with another one of its sites, Borderstan, which focused on a handful of neighborhoods near Dupont Circle.
